Manolas Brothers Delicatessen

The first part of my Australia Day was spent enjoying the morning sunshine at Manolas Brothers Deli in Broadbeach.  Your order and pay at the counter, seat yourself and wait for your food to be delivered to the table.
This clever method means you can't help but be tempted by the selection of fresh salads, wraps, lasagne, veggies, biscuits and desserts on display inside. Not to mention the vast selection of deli goods such as European cheese, cold meats, tahini, olive oils, spices, dukkah...you get the idea, right?
Anyway onto our orders, we each started off with a freshly squeezed fruit juice. Scanning the menu, I discovered they sold a half portion of eggs benedict (a dream come true)...uh yes please @ $8.90. I fear I won't be able to have breakfast anywhere else knowing this exists!!
Oh and then nestled right in front of the cash register were these caramel macadamia morsels for $2.80 each, which of course I just had to have.
My friend ordered the toasted muesli with natural yoghurt, nuts and fruit and even though I am not a muesli fan...it sure looked tempting, Maybe one day I'll give up the bacon and eggs...
Manolas is definitely popular with the locals, which is always a good sign and tables can be hard to secure, so get there early!
