Milan on Tedder Avenue

This cafe/restaurant is located on trendy Tedder Avenue. We stopped here for a late breakfast after some shopping at Marina Mirage on a sunny Sunday morning.

It's pet friendly, kid friendly...you name it and the staff were absolutely lovely. I ordered their tropical fruit juice...which was quite yummy and refreshing. They have a great range of freshly made juices btw.

My dining partner at the time was on a health binge and ordered the very healthy fruit salad and natural yoghurt, making me feel guilty  in the process.

I, on the other hand went the whole hog, corn fritters, crispy bacon and a poached egg with chilli sauce. Can you blame me, when you look at the pic? I didn't finish all the fritter as one fritter would have been plenty and even that was huge but I sure polished off the bacon and egg. I'm not one to leave good crispy bacon behind!

I'm still undecided on the sweet chilli sauce...think I would have preferred a hollandaise instead. Then again, I am probably one of those rare few that don't like sweet chilli sauce.

All in all, it was pretty good food and a pleasant experience. The bill was a bit on the steep side coming in at just under $40.00.
